Susan has a message for those in Dubai today : Those of you anxious about driving to Abu Dhabi -CALL HER! It seems it’s not a challenge, especially on a Friday when the SZ E11 is empty – it should be a 45min drive as the venue is outside of AD which means you can’t get lost in AD
I have been on the forum – have you? The workshops are plenty and new suppliers have signed up for the shop/demonstration area since my post.
Be sure to take along your ATC’s with your name and email on – its a great way to exchange details and share techniques with each other – this is what these events are about – making FRIENDS – getting some new inspiration and having a YOU away day

Who is it For?
This Extravaganza is for anyone who loves to create with paper, stamps, colours, photos, stickers, etc. Whether you are a seasoned scrapbooker or card-maker, or just starting out in this hobby, this event has something for you. Please note, children between the ages of 12 and 16 are welcome to purchase a ticket, as long as they are with a responsible adult.
For experienced papercrafters, this event is a “crop till you drop” and “stamp camp” all rolled into one. Leave your daily grind to spend a whole, uninterrupted day doing what you love!
As with any crop, you bring your own projects and tools to work on in a dedicated table space. It’s kind of like getting together with your crafty friends, only on a larger scale! Hi Christine and Neelu! I understand it can be daunting to drive to Abu Dhabi, I sure feel the same going to Dubai! I hope it won’t stop you from coming though! One of the reasons I chose Yas Island was that it us easy to get to from Dubai – a straight drive down along Sheihk Zayed Rd, and you don’t have to go into Abu Dhabi City at all. Please give me a call Neelu, and I’ll give you precise directions. Also, try posting on Abu Dhabi Papercrafts to see if you could carpool with anyone.
